Summer 2017 Volleyball Camp

CBFO Volleyball – Summer 2017 Volleyball Camp!
We are pleased to announce that CBFO Volleyball will hold summer workouts for rising 3rd through 12th graders each Tuesday and Thursday, (6:15 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) from June 20th to July 27th. We hope you and your player(s) will take advantage of this opportunity to develop essential volleyball skills that will prepare them for their upcoming school season, and get them fully prepared for the upcoming CBFO Fall Season.
The goal of this camp is to help beginners and advanced players to understand why coaches ask them to do what we ask them to do, and the way we ask them to do it. With this training each player will be able to step onto the court and properly execute the skills that are required for both personal and team success.
Each session will consist of 45 minutes of skills training, followed by head to head competition. While four teams (divided by age group) play against each other, the other players will continue skills training while waiting for their “Up” on the next court. Instruction will be given at the pace that optimizes learning for each player.
During the course of camp we will teach proper form and technique for Serving, Passing, Setting, Hitting and Blocking. We will teach players how to move and cover in basic and advanced formations. There is nothing the we take more pride in than watching players as they begin to understand the “How’s and Why’s” of this game. It will be a process that takes every available minute of these 10 scheduled sessions, but the feeling of accomplishment each player will have when all is said and done is priceless.
CBFO SUMMER CAMP will consist of 10 sessions, 20+ hours of instruction. We will break for the 4th of July holiday following the June 29th session, and resume sessions on July 11th.
The cost of attending camp will be $125.00. T-Shirts will be included in this cost. If you have more than one player attending, each additional player will be $110.00. For those who may have travel plans during these sessions, and may only be able to attend half of the camp sessions, please get with me for modified fees. Players who participate in the Summer Camp will receive a $30.00 discount when they are signed up for the CBFO Fall Volleyball League.
As always, CBFO Volleyball is grateful for those players and families that continue to support this program. Feel free to share this information with your friends, and encourage them to help continue the traditions and learned values that I was taught through CBFO when I was a young player.

We ask for your help to pass the word as quickly as possible to players from last Fall and Spring. Our goal is to have at least 100 players involved in this program. Elementary, Middle and High School are all welcome, and all will benefit from being a part of this program.
